Bij veel Spuiten En Slikken-presentatoren krijg ik dat gevoel; dat het een noodzakelijk kwaad is om verder te komen binnen BNN.
Ik denk ook dat dat zo is. Toen ik tien jaar geleden bij BNN begon, was Spuiten En Slikken nog vet, omdat wij de eerste waren. Een argument om het nog steeds te maken, is dat er ieder jaar weer nieuwe zestienjarigen zijn. Daar kan ik me wel in vinden. Tegelijkertijd denk ik; de wereld groeit door, dingen veranderen. Een willekeurige soapie die vertelt dat ze wel eens een pilletje heeft geslikt of een trio heeft gehad, daar kijkt niemand meer van op. We hebben alles wel gehad. Misschien nog geen heroïnejunk die een aap pijpt, maar dat wil je toch niet zien? Het mag wel een beetje diepgaander worden aangepakt. Maak er een mooi programma van met goede docu’s en een professor met verstand aan die tafel. Dat zie ik liever dan een D-ster die niks te vertellen heeft, maar zijn singletje wil verkopen.
