Geachte heer Fuse,
Graag vieren wij op 24 april 2015 met u een mijlpaal voor onze Brusselse AKD-vestiging: dit jaar viert zij haar twintigste verjaardag. In die 20 jaren zijn we uitgegroeid tot het grootste Nederlandse advocatenkantoor in Brussel.
Vieren van een mijlpaal
AKD heeft met haar Brusselse vestiging een bijzonder concept. Met de wortels in Nederland hebben wij voor onze relaties een ‘hub’ naar Brussel en de Europese Unie opgezet. In combinatie met bewezen ervaring én jong talent opereren we al jaren succesvol vanuit Brussel in de praktijk van het Europees en mededingingsrecht met accenten op mededinging en interne markt. Reden genoeg om de mijlpaal met onze relaties, waaronder cliënten, oud-cliënten, oudgedienden, ambtenaren van de EU en andere bevriende relaties te vieren.
Meer dan een borrel…
U en uw partner/introducé zijn van harte uitgenodigd om deze gebeurtenis samen met ons te vieren. Niet alleen met een aperitief en een feestelijk walking dinner, maar door ook de diepte in te gaan. Een bijeenkomst waar de vraag centraal staat wat wij nu verder uit “Brussel” mogen verwachten na inmiddels meer dan 50 jaar Europese Unie. Vanuit verschillende perspectieven zullen bijdragen worden geleverd met gelegenheid om vragen te stellen aan deskundigen, ervaringen uit te wisselen en tevens waardevolle contacten te leggen.

• Prof. mr. Piet Jan Slot, hoogleraar Europees en economisch
recht aan de Universiteit Leiden;
• Eddy de Smijter, Head of Unit, Private Enforcement,
DG Mededinging, Europese Commissie;
• Prof. mr. Ben Smulders, kabinetschef van de eerste vice-voorzitter
van de Europese Commissie, Frans Timmermans;
• Prof. dr. Jules Stuyck, expert op het gebied van Europees recht
en consumentenrecht, hoogleraar aan de Katholieke
Universiteit Leuven.
Na de lezingen en discussie zullen wij het glas heffen tijdens het feestelijk aperitief dat overgaat in een walking dinner in het Museum Autoworld, gelegen in het Jubelpark te Brussel.
