Hierna bekijk ik het PT-EP12 onderwaterhuis eens goed. Het valt me op dat de poort van het onderwaterhuis heel anders is dan de poorten van de E-PL2 en E-PL5/6. De poort is geschikt voor de M.Zuiko 14-42mm EZ, welke naast de M.Zuiko 12mm de enige objectieven zijn die in deze combinatie passen en interessant zijn voor onderwaterfotografie. Al is het niet aan te bevelen om de M.Zuiko 12mm achter een flatpoort te gebruiken. De macroliefhebbers die gebruik willen maken van de Panasonic 45mm macro of de M.Zuiko 60mm macro zullen dus wel een andere bijpassende poort moeten kopen. Dat is helaas wel een nadeel van dit onderwaterhuis. Wel heeft de poort, net als bij de E-PL3, een aluminium ring met 67mm schroefdraad, erg handig! Dit geeft een mooie stevige montage mogelijkheid van een eventuele voorzetlens en zit steviger vast dan een losse adapter. Dat is alvast een positief punt voor het onderwaterhuis.
