Begin elke les met een Binnenkomer: een spelletje om de overgang te maken naar De Vreedzame School. Maak gebruik van onderstaand voorstel of kies er een uit de lijst met Binnenkomers en Afsluiters.

De leerlingen zitten in een kring. Demonstreer de bedoeling: u geeft de Vreedzame School-bal aan de leerling aan uw linkerkant. Vervolgens zegt u: ‘Hallo …… (de naam van het kind)’. De bal mag nu doorgegeven worden aan het volgende kind. U zegt samen met de andere kinderen ‘Hallo (en de naam van het kind dat de bal heeft)’. De wereldbal gaat de kring rond. Aan nieuwe kinderen kan de naam gevraagd worden.
